Bank Account Connectivity, ACH Initiation & Centralized Treasury — Overview#
Cobre Connect is a Cobre capability that allows businesses to connect and centralize multiple external bank accounts from different financial institutions into a single platform, and use those accounts to initiate ACH payments while the actual money movement is executed by the banks. In addition, Cobre Connect provides unified visibility into account and transaction data, enabling companies to manage payments, reconciliation, and treasury operations from one place—without directly custodying funds in those external accounts.Cobre Connect turns fragmented banking relationships into a single operational layer.
A Connect Account represents a bank account held at a third-party financial institution that is linked to Cobre for payment initiation and visibility.Conceptually:
Funds remain at the bank
Cobre does not custody these funds
ACH payments are initiated via Cobre and executed by the bank
Multiple bank accounts, even across different institutions, are managed side by side
This allows businesses to operate across banks as if they were part of one system.
