COPco Rewards

COPco Rewards credits a daily return on copco balances, calculated from a snapshot of the balance and applied automatically once enrolled. For the conceptual overview, see COPco & Rewards.

Tracking Reward Payments

Rewards are credited automatically as a reward_credit transaction on the copco balance — there is no dedicated creation endpoint for rewards. Retrieve it through the account transactions endpoint, filtering by transaction type:

GET /accounts/{id}/transactions?type=reward_credit

Each reward_credit transaction includes:

Metadata field	Description
`entitled_balance`	The balance snapshot used to calculate that day's reward
`entitled_balance_date`	The business day the snapshot corresponds to

On non-business days, the entitled balance used is the lower of that day's balance and the prior business day's balance, to avoid crediting rewards on funds withdrawn before the calculation runs. In rare occasions the reward can be 0, but it will never be negative.

Hold a copco balance

Rewards only accrue on copco balances — see Managing Stablecoin Balances & Wallets.

Confirm reward enrollment with your Cobre representative

Reward enrollment and rate tier are configured per client and are not self-service via API.

Implement Webhooks to track reward credits

Subscribe to account balance credit events to be notified as soon as a reward_credit posts, instead of polling transactions daily.

What to expect after using this API

Daily reward_credit transaction

A reward_credit transaction is generated on the copco balance once per day, including non-business days.

Idempotent crediting

Crediting is idempotent per balance and date — retries or reprocessing cannot result in duplicate reward payments.
